So 2015 is almost over, and this year we’ve had a blast sharing so many incredible local weddings, as well as many from across the seas. From daring dresses to disasters, family gatherings to surprise announcements, we’ve had it all – what better way to say farewell to 2015 than by sharing some of our highlights!
In January we fell in love with Jenny and Alan’s intimate wedding at Wrights Anglers Rest, and most importantly we fell big-time for Jenny’s amazing wedding gown from The Suite in Dublin. With photography by Circus Photography, this was definitely a great start to our year! View their full day here.
Kathleen and Terry’s day was another firm favourite, all thanks to their beautiful essence of family love, unity and simplicity. You can view their day at Rosedale House, here, photography was by Danielle O’Hora.
March saw Aisling and Tristan’s Ozzy dream unfold, we loved the beach shots (and turned green with envy!). Their glamorous day was captured by Ben Clark, view their super day, here.
Pamela and Kenneth gave us all a great lesson in ceremony decor with their Station House wedding in March. Thanks to Tomasz Kornas we felt as if we were right there with them! You can view every little pretty detail, here.
Flowers got bigger and better in 2015, with many brides choosing loose unstructured arrangements. Our bride, Ciara chose perfectly for her wedding to Allan. You can catch their full day, captured by Emily Doran Photography, here.
For breathtaking landscape’s perfect for bespoke wedding portraits we couldn’t go past Nicola and Paul’s wedding captured by Annie Kheffache Photography. Find out where their wedding was at here.
In 2015 we witnessed more and more couples do things their way, and we salute everyone of you! Amanda and Gary chose Dublin city centre for their Just Us shoot by PhotoMV Photography, see the fun (and funny stares from strangers) here!
The cake game was high. If 2015 is anything to go by, we’re going to be blown away in 2016! We thought Leeanne and Gareths naked cake was one of the prettiest of the year. You can view their wedding here. Photography was by Esther Irvine Photography, and there’s a stunning film by B&G Productions too.
Shoe of the year… surely the shoes on our brides feet deserve a post all of their own?! We’re all for fun and colour, but when it comes to the crunch, Aisling’s tootsies we’re the prettiest of the bunch! You can view her wedding to Liam, here. The lovely Katie Kav Photography was the lady behind the lens.
In August whilst we were all carefree and warm we shared Chloe and Ian’s white wonderland wedding in the Dolomites. Grab a warm drink and have a look, here.
Another couple who did it there way, Jennifer and Bryan held a surprise wedding in Canada before jumping on a plane and having their bridal portraits taken in Dublin! We loved the crazy antics of these two and the original photography by Lima Conlon Photography. You can see their shots here.
When the wedding stationery matches the brides bouquet, oh yes, this is good! Claire and Richard didn’t miss a thing at their wildflower themed day by Sharon Kee Photography. You can see their day, here.
For ultimate style and lots of fun, Ruth and Michael’s day at Middleton Park House was one of our stand-out weddings of the year. Every pretty detail was captured perfectly by Corin Bishop Photography. You can see their style, here.
Finally, the prettiest bridesmaid dress and flower combo goes to Fiona’s raspberry bridesmaids! We loved their vibrant style and the pretty simple white bouquets. Fiona and Ed’s day was a lovely one to finish off December nicely! You can view their day by Circus Photography, here.
