Fun & Colourful Boyne Hill House Wedding by Katie Kav Photography

We’re delighted to share the wedding day of Post Primary teachers, Nicola and Michael from this past July. After getting engaged on July, 1st 2016 the couple wanted to get married within the year, so exactly one year on they tied the knot in Naas with a vibrant and beautifully styled reception at Boyne Hill House in Navan. Thanks to Katie Kav Photography for sharing their stunning images with us.

“As we wanted to get married within the year and on a Saturday, our options narrowed straight away. Pinterest, magazines and wedding websites all helped to steer us in the right direction but it is when you meet people that you decide if you want them to be a part of your wedding. The staff at Boyne Hill House were so welcoming the first time we met them that we knew we were in good hands. So many of our family and friends commented on how attentive the staff were over the whole weekend, they really went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan. For the day we did set a budget. We had an estimate of what we wanted to spend but we went past that pretty quickly. We don’t regret it though, it was worth every penny,” explained Nicola.

Nicola and Michael wanted a fun wedding day with rustic and colourful touches and chose pink and green as their accent colours. Nicola’s two bridesmaids wore long vibrant pink gowns which were similar in style to her Suzanne Neville gown from Sharon Hoey in Dublin.

“The day was brilliant and really couldn’t have gone better. We enjoyed every minute of it. There was a little rain after the church and also during the drinks reception but it didn’t affect the day. Our brilliant photographer Katie Kavanagh made sure we were still able to get some brilliant photos despite the rain. She was ably assisted by our videographer Ray Yore. We couldn’t recommend the two of them highly enough. They helped us both to relax and enjoy the day,” said Nicola.

Wedding Day Highlight

The whole day was amazing from the ceremony to the band. We both really enjoyed the evening entertainment from The Good Hustle. They were absolutely fantastic and kept the dance floor full the entire time they were playing.
