At Mrs2Be, we live for a sweet love story. Paula and Alan met when they were teenagers and have been together since. After several trips together as a couple, and many expectant friends and relatives on each return, Alan wanted to make the proposal trip a surprise, even to Paula! He swept her away to the City of Love and popped the question near River Seine. After much laughter, which we hope was due to shock, she say yes!
Thank you for sharing their big day, Kestutis Anuzis!
The first wedding venue Paula and Alan visited was Dunmore House Hotel. Obviously impressed, they stopped the search there and we don’t blame them! Above, Paula and Alan trek through the gorgeous grounds of the hotel.
The morning of the wedding day was beautifully captured in black and white, not to mention our gorgeous bride is radiating love in every image.
Looking smart, boys! Can’t beat a fitted navy suit.
Paula loved the idea of grey bridesmaid gowns. She found these sequined numbers, below, at Coast and we are oohing and ahhing over these wonderfully shaded halter dresses.
Typical of an Irish wedding it’s time to celebrate, rain or shine, and let’s be honest it’s most likely rain!
We are in awe of the stunning portraits Kestutis Anuzis captured of Paula and Alan. It was so hard to only pick a few!
Paula’s advice: Just enjoy the day as much as you can because it goes so fast it’s not worth stressing about anything!
