If you’re currently sitting on the fence over booking a wedding videographer, this post is just what you need. Clare and Mark were married in the most relaxed and emotionally charged ceremony last December. Their day was beautifully captured by Matty from Out of Mountain, and boy will it warm your heart. Thanks to Clare and Mark for sharing their story, enjoy and get the tissues at the ready!

Greystones couple, Clare and Mark met in 2009 when they were both at school and dated until 2012. After a two year break they started dating again at the end of 2014 and got engaged two years later.

“We wanted to keep our wedding day as simple as possible – we had seen a few things we liked online and saw a lot of things we didn’t like at other weddings we had been to. We wanted to keep it extremely relaxed so the organisation wasn’t hugely stressful for us,” said Clare.

Married in Rathmichael Church of Ireland, the couple travelled to Summerhill House Hotel in Enniskerry to celebrate with their guests. “We both loved interacting with our guests after the wedding ceremony at the church – all of our friends in one place,” added Clare. “We chose to have a wedding video because we wanted to be able to have a record of guests interacting with each other. Our videographer, Matty, was a fly on the wall – and a very talented fly at that. He’s also a wonderful dancer.”

Clare’s Advice

Chill out. Make sure the day reflects your personalities. And don’t try to please everyone.
