One to Watch – An Incredibly Fun Wedding Video by VowArt

Real Weddings

Oh, how you’re in for a treat today. We don’t usually post real wedding videos on the site, but that’s all to change this year and we’re kicking our new regular section off with a really special one!

Bride Kate & Groom Alan had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Coolbawn Quay near Lough Derg in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary in late summer last year. The day was filled with romance, fun and quite a few surprises – groom Alan had sent a choir to Kate’s cottage in the morning to sing one of her favorite songs! The video, by VowArt, captures the fun atmosphere of the day amazingly, and we honestly felt like we were there while watching it. There’s also plenty of cool ideas to steal in it too – including a visually beautiful shoot with colourful smoke!

Thanks to Nadia and Tom of VowArt for sending this one into us. We LOVED it, and we think you will too!

Should you Hire a Wedding Videographer?

A piece of advice that comes up over and over again in our real weddings is to hire a videographer, and many, many couples mention how happy they were to have a video of the day, capturing the atmosphere and showing them the wedding from the guests’ perspective. If you’re even considering a videographer we would strongly advise you to find the budget for one, and if you’re ruling it out altogether we suggest you reconsider! Over the next few weeks we’ll be featuring more wedding videos in our real wedding section to show our couples all the different styles of wedding films out there, so make sure to come back to check out some of the amazing talent on offer.
