Ooh, I am a little green with envy of our bride today! It’s not everyday you will need a wedding planner but when that day comes how lucky would you be to have a very good friend who plans weddings for a living? Yes, that’s right Kathleen, a busy mum of two young boys asked her friend, Stephen Sheridan, also know as The Wedding Guy to plan her day, and what a great day he created! Thanks to Danielle O’Hora for sharing this beautiful day.
Kathleen and Terry met at school and got together a few years after they finished, Kathleen said soon after their relationship started they both knew it was for life.
The couple were keen to share their day with their closest family members and friends and chose Rosedale House in Shankill for both their ceremony and reception.
Keeping things relaxed and simple both kathleen and Terry were happy to let Stephen take over the arrangements for the day;
“With two young boys I didn’t really have a lot of time on my hands so I handed the whole thing over to him and I’m very thankful I did as he did an amazing job!” said Kathleen.
On her wedding day, August 8th, 2014 Kathleen slipped in to a full length Alice and Olivia dress, which she had purchased on sale from Shop Bop two weeks before the day! Her braided hair was accented with a dainty floral crown and she carried a vibrant bouquet of flowers.
“The day went really well. The weather started off quite poor but just as the guests started arriving the sun came out. Seeing family and friends join together to celebrate our special day was definitely the highlight,” added Kathleen.
