Your wedding day is definitely one of the days you will remember forever, but it seems another way Irish weddings especially are making their day very memorable, to not only their guests but the entire world is by surprise singing! Yes, it seems us Irish know how to hold a tune or two and our wedding are going viral, so if you fancy some of the same take a look at these ideas…

Bride: Sing yourself down the aisle:

Are you brave enough to surprise your groom and guests by singing yourself down the aisle? This bride, Arianna did just that, by singing a stunning rendition of Carrie Underwood’s ‘Look at Me’. Groom, Ryan found it hard to contain the tears and we bet you will find it tough too!

Groom: Sing your bride down the aisle:

Niall Donnelly is already well known around Ireland for fronting many bands that perform at weddings, but when he decided to sing his own fiancé Jill down the aisle to Ronan Keating’s ‘This I Promise You’ he never thought it would get so many hits on the Internet! You’d have to be a very brave groom to take this on if singing’s not your bag!

Surprise Priest sings:

We all need a Priest like Father Ray Kelly! For the guests at Chris and Leah O’Kane’s wedding in Oldcastle, County Meath, it was a perfectly normal wedding ceremony, until Father Kelly took to the alter to deliver a different kind of blessing! He stole the show with his personalised rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. Now that’s one fabulous blessing to be given on your wedding day! We can’t wait to see more singing Priest’s pop up over the next few months.

 Hidden choir:

It’s an oldie but a goodie, remember the secret choir who started singing at the end of the wedding ceremony in Love Actually? We loved this, and if nerves get the better of you, it’s a realistic option for your own wedding day!

Sing your wedding speech:

Over a year ago Tom Fletcher, singer and guitarist from McFly and more recently part of the McBusted brigade, shared the video of his wedding speech which had been filmed during his wedding to wife Giovanna Falcone. We dare you not to wail watching this! And we’d love to hear (and see) if your other half attempts to pull off such a beautiful act!
