We are now producing many wedding videos for the children of our previous couples - as a result of filming over 2000 weddings in the past 47 years.
The biggest change we now see is the question, How Much? - this used to relate to a question of cost, but now it is related to the duration of our footage: How much video will the couple receive?
This is down to a growing push back against the previously popular short form 5 to 10 minute video, and couples are now yearning for the documentary style that we specialise in, typically around 90 minutes in length.
Storytelling needs a beginning, a middle, and an end, and this is where our timeless style of discreet fly on the wall coverage excels. One bride recently described the short form video as the trailer of her wedding story; but what she desired was the full length movie of her wedding day.
Our advice to couples is to always ask How Much - without referring to the price!
