Do you feel you have sooo many decor choices, you wish someone would narrow it down for you? We’ll be happy to! Here’s a simple and enjoyable decision you can make today: how to tell the guests where they are sitting. Here are six of our favourite seating cards. Best of all, they are not expensive, and would even make a fabulous and jolly DIY project. Rope in a few friends and family and get these done together!

Above left – these little briefcases and bags look pretty profesh, but actually they are so easy to make. Make cuts in the paper, or simply glue the ribbon neatly to the back of the card. If you want, you can cut them into any shape you like. Above right, old corks are charming (where there is wine, there is fun!) and especially suit outdoor or rustic themed weddings. A cork stand is the simplest thing to make: one cut at the top for the card, and a small cut lengthwise at bottom to make the cork a little flat. Of course, you don’t want it to roll away!

Above left – purple is ever popular as a wedding colour, so these lilac seating cards are perfect. They double as a wedding favour, and will scent the tables ever so gently too. Wrap the stalks in a little bow and attach two strips of card – one to show the name, and the other the table number. Furthermore, above right, are the cutest little seats with an extra pun attached. ‘Please take your seat’ – get it? Made with a little piece of card, it’s easy to write the names on the top of the chair, and table number on the seat. So sweet! These are our favourite seating cards because of their added fun factor.

Above left – we had to add this idea to our favourite seating cards, because it’s so genius! Get a few friends who have interesting but neat handwriting, and get them to write the names for you. You have to agree, it looks pretty cool when all the cards line up like that. We recommend they all use the same pen colour. Above right – a great idea for an outdoor wedding! If you line up all cards on a table, they might get blown away in the wind. Use string and pegs instead! It’s a pinch of extra fun for the guests.
