Intimate Irish Elopement In Church Ruins By Johnny Corcoran

We get very excited by seeing international couples come to Ireland to elope. Their special days are sure to be intimate, relaxed and bathed in Irish beauty of the location they have chosen, usually by the beach, on a clifftop or as in today’s elopement, in old church ruins. 

Julia and Donovan travelled from Pennsylvania, USA to Ireland in May of this year to elope. Their ceremony was conducted by Celebrant, Yvonne Cassidy in the atmospheric surroundings of Loughcrew Lodge. We’re delighted to share the photos by Meath based photographer, Johnny Corcoran. “I asked Kevin if he wanted to get married at our local city hall or in Ireland. He immediately picked Ireland. Ireland is very special to me because my grandparents passed away a few years back and they love everything about Ireland and their heritage. It made me feel closer to them. I also picked my Grandmother’s birthday as our wedding date,” said Elizabeth.
