Halloween weddings are no longer just for the brave or the gothic – they’ve become a playful, stylish way to celebrate love with a seasonal twist. From flickering candlelit dinners to carved pumpkins, rich autumnal tones, and dramatic gothic colour schemes, real Irish couples are embracing the spooky season in ways that feel both romantic and unforgettable. Whether you’re drawn to subtle hints of orange and black or full-on haunted-house glamour, there’s plenty of inspiration to make your Halloween wedding as enchanting as it is eerie.
A Black Gothic Wedding With a ‘Til Death’ Theme
“Our wedding theme as you can imagine was quite unconventional. After almost 10 years of shooting weddings together we knew exactly what we didn’t want to be a part of the day. Trying to find vendors or suppliers to match our theme was pretty tricky. We loved the toned down gothic style and decided that “‘Til death” would be a fitting theme, black being the main colour. We both wanted the black tie feel without the formality. Our styles aren’t very conventional so we just chose things we liked rather than people pleasing.”
