Many couples dream of a white wedding but nobody could fathom the chaos ‘The Beast from the East’ and Storm Emma would cause particularly for couples that have been planning their dream wedding for months, even years. With the country grinding to a halt, some couples were sadly forced to cancel their Big Day but one of the lucky couples that were able to go ahead were Sian and Eric. The local community of Kilmessan pulled out all the stops, transporting guests in 4×4’s after the local Centra owner put out the call, with Trim Fire Brigade taking the lead ensuring everyone arrived safely. The couple’s happy celebrations took place at the church in Kilmessan and the gorgeous Trim Castle Hotel and Sian and Eric even braved the elements with photographer Ruth Foran to capture some seriously magical snow-filled photos with the castle backdrop!
