Aimee and Jordan planned an elegant and classy wedding with Sicilian traditional touches. The tones of the day centred around light pink and green to match the natural colour of the stones of the buildings and of the traditional white pots used for the decor. Lot of attention was given to the materials used for the stationery with only natural cotton paper and linen used throughout.
Best Wedding Italy were the planners behind the beautiful day;
“We met this lovely couple on a hot morning of August 2024 in Sicily after the first four months of planning with online meetings. We worked together for more than one year in total to find the right solutions for their wedding day, hosting the welcome event in a typical square in Marzamemi, a fishermen village and the breakfast on the beach the day after the wedding. We assisted the clients in the whole planning including all the services for the wedding day, the logistics and the accommodation for the guests.”
We particularly love the soft and romantic floral decor used throughout with hydrangeas stealing the spotlight.
The wedding day was a very hot and sunny day. For everyone’s comfort the ceremony was in the early afternoon and the party went long into the early hours.
Aimee and Jordan travelled from the ceremony to reception in a vintage Fiat 500 complete with bridal ribbon and tin can garland. Not only was it a fun way to travel but it made for the perfect photo spot for them and their guests.
Guests were treated throughout the three day event, firstly with painted scarves decorated in typical Italian symbols, a small gift for the welcome event, and on the wedding day with Polish vodka bottles to incorporate Aimee’s Polish roots.
The guests enjoyed a very detailed musical program throught to a DJ set. A sax and electric violin for the cocktail reception and also for some important moments such as the cake cutting and the first dance and then a DJ set with electric drums and percussions to dance until the very last minute.
