I’m a live wedding painter based in Galway, working with couples across Ireland. I create original oil paintings of weddings as they happen. On the day, I set up my easel at a chosen spot at the venue and then begin painting live as the event unfolds, transforming the moment into a hand-painted work of art.
I work on the painting throughout the day, capturing the couple, venue, and overall atmosphere of the celebration. Guests often enjoy watching the painting progress and come to life during the event.
Each painting is completed in two stages. The first takes place during the wedding itself, where I typically paint for around six hours. After the event, I bring the painting back to my studio to refine all the details and complete the final piece before returning it to the couple. Each painting is designed to feel natural, personal, and timeless.
Andy’s Ice Cream Bike Hire
Andys Ice Cream Bike Hire was established in 2019. The vintage bicycle was refurbished from a rusty pile of metal into a beautifully restored three wheeled refrigerated vintage ice cream bike.
Based in Dublin, Andys Ice Cream Bike Hire is available throughout the entire country for weddings, parties, corporate events and even funerals. A full range of standard favourite ice creams are served by Andy who dresses in a traditional vintage attire inside or outside the event venue. Andy can set up outside the church for a wedding or indoors or outdoors at the reception venue. The beauty of the small bike is that it can be set up indoors or outdoors at the event venue. We only set up after the bride has entered the Church to keep the element of surprise for the guests. We will remain with you until all guests are served and photographs completed.
It is fantastic to see the atmosphere an ice cream can create among all ages, kids obviously and the elders (like myself) reminiscing on the time they had their first ever ice cream. It creates good craic and gets people chatting.
All our ice creams are served in a cone or tub with a chocolate flake and a choice of syrups.
Our ice cream is Irish made and we are HACCP certified to serve food and we are fully insured.
