The Countdown to weddingsonline Awards 2020 Has Begun!

Articles, WOL Awards

Here at weddingsonline, we love an excuse to throw a good party. In fact, we are lucky enough to work with some incredible suppliers who deserve to be celebrated. You might remember reading that the weddingsonline Awards for 2018 won Best Awards Ceremony at the Event Industry Awards last year. [Not sure what we’re talking about? Go on and take a look over here]. Each year, when the awards nominations open, we start to get excited all over again! We’re expecting the weddingsonline Awards 2020 to be even more exciting!

How does it work?

Monday 2nd September 2019 – Nominations open. Entrants fill out and submit a nomination form and complete payment.

Friday 27th September 2019 – Nominations close at 5pm.

Wednesday 9th October 2019 – The voting stage opens.   Once you have nominated your company or venue, in order to make the shortlist of the top wedding suppliers and venues in Ireland you must canvas for votes.

Monday 21st October 2019 – Voting Closes.

Tuesday 29th of October 2019 – We announce the finalists! We will send an email to anybody who has entered and make an announcement on the awards website and the weddingsonline website.

If you end up being a finalist, we will ask you to complete an online submission document. This will contain samples of your work and reviews based on real wedding experience. Our expert panel of independent judges will use this information while judging and then determine a winner.

Monday 25th November 2019 – Submissions close at 5.00pm.

Monday 17th February 2020 – We host a Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony in February and this is where we will announce the winners.
