Last year we saw blush and pink bridal bouquets take centre stage. This trend will carry on into 2015 with added accents and tones of red such as Marsala. Brides are no longer afraid to choose colour in their bouquets and some will be steering away from the classic all white bouquet. The wilder, looser bouquet will be the headliner this year. The form will have shorter stems with foliage and flowers fanned out to give that unstructured look. We will also see the use of silvery foliage such as eucalyptus and scenicio with the added twist of succulents.
The trailing ribbon trend has swept over to Ireland from the US. This has been sparked off by all the breathtakingly gorgeous images on Pinterest, of adorned bridal bouquets with beautiful trails of ribbons in complementary colours. These velvet or silk ribbons add to the luxe look for 2015. Irish brides will be paying more attention to ‘Tablescaping’ – especially to the florals – with runners of several low wild romantic centrepieces to catch the eye.
2015 will see brides and grooms putting a greater emphasis on design. Bespoke wedding service providers who adopt a more personalised approach will be sought as these enhance the overall experience and the look of course. A small piece of advice is to choose your floral designer wisely; as you would your photographer. Your bridal bouquet will be in almost as many photos as your dress so go for someone who can create the style you love.

Year in, year out wedding flower trends change, this year is no different. Blush tones continue to be hugely popular for 2015, with brides opting for statement bouquets to complement their stunning dresses. Using 3 to 5 flower varieties gives a textured look, with gypsophila (baby’s breath) still proving very popular for a vintage look.
Brides following the celebrity look, with the latest being Kim Kardashian are choosing full-on luxury for their wedding flowers, this look is all about high flower content! Classic brides are opting for the timeless combination of white and green, this is perfect for brides who want a simple, elegant feel to their bouquet. This look is achieved by grouping a single flower variety, for example avalanche roses. A large number of stems of a single flower, create impact while keeping the elegance of simplicity.
The cascade style bouquet is making a return with flowing elegance, along with the simplicity of the carnation, an underestimated flower that brings softness to any bouquet style. Whatever your style, bouquets for 2015 are going to be making a statement in size and nature.
