How to Use the 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year for Your Wedding

Décor & Flowers

It’s that time of year again (nope, not Christmas) – the 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year has been revealed and it is perfect for weddings. The hue we’ll be seeing everywhere next year is ‘Living coral’ and it is the perfect shade for spring/summer weddings. Colour Experts Pantone described it as “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” And the reason they chose it?

“Vibrant, yet mellow PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.” They added: “Representing the fusion of modern life, PANTONE Living Coral is a nurturing color that appears in our natural surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media.”

This pretty colour has been a popular wedding colour in the past. But it’s set to be even bigger next year! It works gorgeously with a wealth of colours too. Pair it with blush pink, greenery, teal blue, mint, navy, gold or ivory. It looks beautiful with them all! Check out some ways to work the 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year into your own Big Day below…
