Celine from Celines Flowers & Gifts shares some of her tips and suggestions: “White weddings have been a popular winter choice, but an all-white colour palette doesn’t have to be stark. Instead opt for a soft, antique white effect made up of flowers in creams, ivories and even some silver foliage. Brides can capture the beauty of the winter season with dramatic frosted whites, rich reds and purples and by adding rich green holly, berries, pine cones, ivy, crystals, brooches or glittering diamantés. Adding touches of golds, silvers and bronze can glitz up your wedding flowers and transform them in to a glamorous wintry display.
“To decorate a winter wonderland event, a lush green arch with snow-tipped pine cones and fairy lights is always fabulous and the perfect backdrop for photos. For your tables, transform silver candelabras by adding some deep red roses, they’re very luxurious against crisp white table linen. For tall vase centrepieces, opt for some snow birch with white amaryllis or if you’re having rose bowls, some fab showy red Poinsettia will certainly give a glamorous look to your winter wedding. White Manzanita Wishing Trees decorated with fairy lights and baubles will give you the total Christmas factor, and add bowls and vases of mistletoe with frosted pine cones and scented nobilis foliage around your drinks reception area.”
