Wedding Trends for 2021: Pop Up Ceremonies

Weddings have changed dramatically over the past 12 months due to a worldwide event of a pandemic. But all is not lost. Weddings are still happening and are becoming a more lavish intimate affair with close friends and family. Laura from Wild Feather Event Styling has shared wedding trends for 2021, with pop up ceremonies being a fab option!
It is no surprise that the biggest trend we will see this year is smaller weddings. Even elopements are set to soar. This may not be done by choice, but there have been some amazing small weddings that have been created in 2020. And this will continue for 2021. We will see a more relaxed and informal approach to weddings, also allowing couples to spend their budget on a more lavishly smaller celebration.
Other trends for 2021 will be more outdoor weddings worldwide, 70’s retro bohemian styled weddings, inclusion of luscious greenery, more sustainable and eco-friendly weddings. For flowers and colours, English garden vibes are coming on high trend with requests for more natural feel arrangements that look like they have come from the garden. For popular colour palettes, rust and yellow are on the rise, but pastel colours are still coming in as a favourite for spring and summer weddings. Winter weddings hare seen to have popularity with the mix of burgundy, navy and green.
With smaller weddings and elopements on the rise, there was no better timing for Wild Feather Event Styling to focus on pop up ceremonies.
A service that was created for the Irish market, having noticed that there weren’t enough alternative options for couples for their wedding day. The concept came from international wedding markets such as Australia and New Zealand, where couples had the freedom to get married wherever they wanted. Following these trends and recognising the growing demand for outdoor weddings, as well as couples looking for more personal choices for their day. Laura from Wild Feather wanted to offer just that.
There isn’t an easy solution to set up a ceremony with seating for guests, then be able to pack down once the wedding party have left. This became an opportunity for Laura to fill the gap in the Irish wedding Market. Now couples don’t have to worry about hiring chairs for a full day and being responsible for them once they have left the location. Wild Feather Event Styling will take care of all of this.
Pop up ceremonies are the perfect solution for couples looking for a different and alternative location to host their wedding ceremony. Whether it is on a beach, in a whimsical woodlands or even a brewery! There are endless possibilities for creating the perfect alternative ceremony. Not only that, pop up ceremonies offer small, private, exclusive venues and country houses a solution for providing their couples with this service, as many small venues wouldn’t have the means to arrange such a service themselves.
So let’s not have restrictions on how you should get married. You pick the location and Wild Feather Event Styling will rock up and provide everything you require to create your dream ceremony. This is a perfect solution for couples who just want to make their day about them and a little bit more personal. Laura’s team will provide you with an intensive list of props/hire and floristry services. All you need to do is tell them what you would like! For pricing, there is a minimum charge, and after that, the choice is yours. Tell the team your vision, they will allow you to select from their hire collection and then show up on your date to create your dream ceremony for you!
