TIMELINE WALKTHROUGH
I’m not listing every item here – I’m guiding listeners through the structure, with helpful category cues and occasional insider tips!
12+ Months Before – The Foundation Phase

- This is where you lay the groundwork: what kind of wedding you want, who’s coming, and where it’s happening.
- Book ceremony and reception venues
- Get clear on budget and who’s contributing
- Research your dream team: planner, photographer, band, videographer
- It’s also the time for fun stuff, like engagement parties, trying on dresses, and yes, starting your wedding website if you want one!

- This is the creative phase – colours, themes, Pinterest boards galore.
- Order your wedding outfit
- Decide on your wedding party
- Reserve accommodation for guests
- If you’re planning a destination wedding or a peak-season celebration, you’ll want to tick off some of the big vendors now too.
