Length of engagement: Almost 4 years | Wedding date: May 12, 2012

Wedding photographer: Aidan Mulvey of Radharc Photography
We met… It was almost 11 years ago through a mutual friend of ours.
First impressions of Michael… He had a massive smile, reminded me of the cat from Alice in Wonderland!
Michael’s first impressions of you… I thought Laura was quite, cute and very hot indeed.
Our proposal… On the beautiful grounds of Lough Rinn Castle, Co Leitrim
Our wedding theme/ colours… Our theme was classic chic and the colours were white and royal blue. We chose it because we like the clean classic look, that are not fussy but eye catching.
Our ceremony… It was excellent, relaxed and had a very happy atmosphere, it was our favourite part of the whole day!
We chose our venue because… It has a traditional look with a modern twist, the grounds were beautiful and private and the staff were so welcoming.
My dress… It was a very simple white bodice style dress with a long train, the bodice had crystal and pearl beading and it was very simple but elegant. I loved it!
Our first dance song… ‘If I Should Fall Behind’ by Bruce Springsteen.
My advice for other brides… Enjoy every second, it is the best day of your life. Don’t let anything or anyone stress you out, it is both you and your partner’s day.
