This is a bizzare question I know and I hope someone knows what I mean! My babies spend all their awake time staring at the lights and I know I have seen before some light that throws shadows on the ceilings of images, like animals or something and also in colour, I would love to get one for them, does anyone know what I mean and if so what are they called and where can I get one?

i know the ones you mean but cant think of the name, light throwers or something? I have seen Winnie the Pooh ones in Premaman (quite expensive though) and also in TK Maxx. The premaman one attaches to the cot like a mobile and throws the images onto the walls. They are lovely but i got a fisher price mobile in TK maxx that has a yellow bulb in it that you can turn on and between the distratction of that and the turning animals she seems very amused!

DS got this one as a Christmas present: [url:1oml110d]http://www.toys.ie/Fisher-Price-Ocen-Wonders-Soother-!G06518-prod.aspx?qwSessionID=693b58b5-6f02-42a1-a2b5-84a840581bd4[/url:1oml110d] [img:1oml110d]http://www.toys.ie/product_images/G06518_M.jpg[/img:1oml110d] It plays music/ocean sounds and projects an image onto the ceiling at the same time. I'd love to be able to turn the lights on without the music but that's not an option though.

i've never seen those before they look like a good idea. my DS is almost swinging out of his mobile at this stage trying to pull it down so those light throwers look like a good idea. anyone know of ones that you can turn the sound off on?

MrsDoyle, thats the one I found when searching the net last night so I will defo get it, thats a pity alright about not being able to use the light without the music as at sleeptime I would rather just have the lights but oh well I am still delighted to be able to get something! Thanks!!

Hi Gemini chica, Tome make one called the Starlight Dreamshow, it has the option to show the pictures without the music if you want. I havent bought it yet, was planning to get it last weekend but didnt get out with all the snow and ice.... It gets good reviews here : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tomy-2008-Starl ... y_by_img_b

Saw another one today while browsing on www.onceborn.com, its expensive but looks lovely, it projects star constellations. Might be more suitable for an older child since I dont think the stars move.... Here it is : http://www.onceborn.com/catalog/product ... cts_id=289

One other thing is that there are two fixed pictures that project onto the ceiling, it's not a moving lights show. The other ones Coraline found look good too. Hope you find something that works for you!
