B[/quote:3n3r0kd9] I don't know tbh :-8 I suffer from chronic allergic sinusitus and seem to constantly be on antibiotics for it. I've had blood allergy tests done and they came back all clear-what other types of testing are there and are they any good? I've asked my GP and ENT specialist about it, but they both kind of fobbed me off about and said I'd be wasting my time getting it done.

Many have been exposed by Watchdog and similar programmes for giving completely different results each time the same person had them done. Most are complete scams. There is a skin test available which is supposed to be reliable. The easiest thing would be to ask your GP again for a referral or seek out a private allergy clinic (some have been mentioned above). Kingston it sounds like you have th esame prob as my hubby, and thats why we were thinking of allergy testing, might look into the skin test like someone else said. Have you any tips or know of any good books re sinus, himself has been to the dr and hosp to get all checked out, head xray, brain scan, bloods etc and they found nothing wrong.

I got the skin one done last year in the Mater Private in Dublin. It was like 2 lines of skin pricks and each was tested against stuff like wheat, grass, dust etc Cant remmeber them all. It's supposed to be reliable. Was allergic to wheat and was a new womwn when I went on a wheat free diet. Had been reffered by GP though so best probably ask there
