I am wondering does anyone out there know anything about make-up that uses NO animal products? I am a strict vegetarian, and never wear make-up for this reason. I would like to look my best for my wedding, but I'm not sure if such a thing is available in Ireland...
Maybe you could recommend a make-up artist that might know?
Thanks!

Don't know much about this (underdeveloped social conscience I'm afraid!) but I did a google search and came up with the above - I'm almost sure Body shop stuff is animal friendly too.

Thanks,
The Body Shop certainly doesn't test on animals, but as for their ingredients, I doubt they are vegetarian. If they were, it would say on the jar - and it doesn't!

Just checked the body shop and in their values section it states that all their ingredients are suitable for vegetarians, have a read yourself to see if they're strict enough for you.

I never bothered to check if the body shop used animal ingredients, I just assumed they did because the labels never stated any different. I tend to only use beauty products that say they are animal-free. Thanks for letting me know!

Hi VeggieGirl,
Some of our staff here at the Radisson in Athlone have similar preferences and have reccomended the LUSH brand, there are two stores in Ireland situated in Dublin, one on Henry street and one on grafton street and they pride themselves in selling only products without any animal testing.
I hope you find what your looking for, best of luck with your wedding day!
