Antibiotics and TTC??

Hi All, We are hoping to start trying for a baby this month but as I was on antibiotic (finished the course 6 weeks ago) I am just wondering whether its ok to start TTC or whether we should postpone it for another month or so. Im very anxious to start TTC as soon as possible

I think it should be ok. I'm no expert but I'm still on Malaria antibiotics and basically it says not to even try to get preggers until I'm finished. However, I do have to go for a smear so I might ask them then.

CC, you should be fine.... that is how about 75% of pregnancies happen (that ladies dont realise their pill is not effective while on antib's!!) enjoy ttc :wink: :oops: :shock: :oops: :wink:
