I am wondering if any one can tel me names with a link to co kerry. .boys or girls..or really common names in kerry. looking for some inspiration

Not from co Kerry so am only familar with names from another Munster county but the biggest and most obvious name associated with Kerry would be "Brendan"! I also know that Flann and Con (don't know if it's short for the Irish saint Conleth or Cornelius!) are heard a lot in Kerry. Wouldn't be familar with girls names but St Gobnait is a female saint and name asssociated with Kerry however name is extremely dated and I can't see many people using it nowadays! "Sive" whilst I don't think is a kerry name is a name of a well known John B Keane play! Hopefully somebody from Co Kerry may have better knowledge of some local names for you!

What about the name.... Kerry? Met a bloke called Kerry through work a while back. A bit of a knob unfortunately so when I was taking his details I said is that Kerry as is.. Katona? *Mutley wheeze*
