Very sad. 18 weeks early? Very early isn't it, 22 weeks. Amazing that he was born alive, at that stage isn't it normally still considered a miscarriage.

That is so sad. I do remember a story of a little baby in America who survived at 21 weeks gestation, but, as far as I recall she will have serious medical problems for life and the debate was whether it was right to be so agressive in the treatment to keep her alive. Poor Kym, and her two other children and partner must be devestated at this. FP

God love her and her partner. Especially considering she has a lot of people around her who are pregnant.
