A bomb scare on O'Connell Street has caused major traffic disruption in Dublin city centre this lunchtime.
The street has been closed off to traffic after a suspicious package was found on an Air Coach bus outside O'Connell St garda station just before 11.30am.

Dont know, I heard a controlled explosion was carried out on the package, I was around O'Connell st around 1pm and things seem to be back to normal

turned out there was no bomb in what ever they were searching. Luckily enough.
