Boston recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations on where to stay in Boston (as in general areas) and where to stay away from! Hoping to make a trip around March next year so all suggestions greatly welcomed as I don't know the city at all!! Thanks in advance

Boston is lovely my sister lived there for 5 years. Can't tell you where to stay be tell you where to shop. Great shoes at good prices in DSW opsite macey's on Washington st/downtown crossing. it is upstairs so it could be easy to miss. Filens bacement has moved and is on Bolyston st if i remember, again good bargins if you are prepared to look.(not as good as when it was in the bacement of filenes.

I would recommend the Millenium Hotel, verey nice hotel and very central
