Bruising feeling, is this normal?

I'm 12 weeks gone now and today my left side of stomach feels like it's bruised and tender. The baby tends to gather to my right so it's not that the baby is lying on something, I don't remember having this during my pregnancy with dd, I definetly didn't get a bang there but can be quite sore. Anyone know anything about this?

I've felt the same the last few weeks. As If I've been doing loads of sit ups or something like that. Tummy feels all tight and when I move a certain way it's like stretching on a bruise - feel like [email protected] a 6 pack, then i look down and see the bump flab!

Maybe you might have pulled or strained some stomach muscles its very easy to do this during pregnancy.

Possibly have pulled a muscle as I lift my almost 3 year old dd alot and shes very tall for her age so its a possibility, but my stomachs fine now, lets hope it doesnt return
