Hi girls
Can someone recommend a nice, comfortable, not too formal restaurant in Galway city for a long business lunch? I like Italian, but am open to suggestions!!
Thanks

Gemelles is onw of my favorites in Galway - if its a business lunch, you might ask for a table upstairs as it would be quieter than downnstairs.
Try also - Vina Mara -

If you want italian - the best in Galway is Da Robertas. They have a 2 places beside each other - one is a pizzeria and the other is a restaurant. the only catch is they are in Salthill, not the city centre. But its only a 10 minute drive from the city center -

I deffo WOULDN'T recommend Da Roberta's (sorry previous poster). I had a terrible experience there last week. Really rude staff and the food took way too long to arrive.
For a business lunch I would recommend Vina Mara, the Malt House or perhaps KC Blakes.
They are all nice restaurants, not overly pricey but not cheapy either.
If it is Italian you are after specifically there are 2 nice Italians down Quay St. - Il Foletta and Tratoria. They are both nice, Il Foletta is a bit pricier but Tratoria is more casual.
