Can you have a Christening on a Saturday?

Probably a stupid question. I always assumed they have to be on a sunday, anyone know if this is correct? Thanks.

Have been to quite a few christenings on Saturdays,think it depends on the parish really

Christenings can be on any day of the week as long as your parish priest allows it.

Depends on the parish. Our parish do not allow Christenings any day other than Sunday.
