I work in a preschool and there is chicken pox about, am i safe to be there. I had them when i was younger and have been working in childcare for years and have never carried or got them.
If you've had them then you are immune. Did the hospital not confirm that you were immune? They usually do this when they take bloods at 12 weeks.
No they never said, but i presume if i wasnt they would have said. I only got a tiny dose when i was younger but im sure if i was going to get them again i would have be now. How is your little man Regina ?
Phone the hospital and ask them to check that you're immune to chicken pox - they get this query all the time, they'll just check your chart and tell you over the phone. If you're immune (and most people are) then nothing to worry about.
He's doing great missus- 12 weeks now. The time is flying! I bet that you are just counting the days down now!
as Flowergirl said, give the hospital a call if you're unsure.
