I really believe it will be abolished

Unfortuantely I think it might be on its way out too-if not it will certainly be reduced with a view to abolishing it in the Dec budget. I def think its extremely likely they will do something here or poss means test child benefit, its one or the other and its my feeling that one option has to be on the way now or in a later budget

i don't think they will means test the Child Benefit next week - they may flag it for 2010 but my predicition is abolition of the ECS and then announcing that Child Benefit will be taxed (instead of means tested) in 2010. taxing is simpler.
