Just wondering if ye can hel. DH is godfather to his nephew on Sunday and have no idea what to give him, would love any ideas.
Thanks a mill xx
We got vouchers for handprinting in plaster for each of DH's godchildren, they do it in BT2, you go into the store and they take a mould of the child's hand and/or foot and bake them and present them in a frame, they're really lovely
in argos, they have a lovely build a bear, maybe he could get something like that for him
As a godparent, I would suggest going down a more traditional route with silver.
Silver photo frame, money box, napkin ring.. that kind of thing
For christenings I always buy a few books as gaeilge and wrap them up in a ribbon. Sounds odd but has always gone down really well and been a bit different than the ordinary

I would also recommend the BTs Baby prints or a voucher for photographer to have baby pics done
Time For A Change
I love the handprint idea, I seen them a few times before. I always go for Willow Tree figurienes - maybe something like these?
It might be too late but what about Prize Bonds?
The plaster prints are a great idea - some florists do that service now too (one in our local shopping centre does) so you could see if any near you do it - might be easier to get to than BT if there's none in the area.
I really hate the Willow Tree figurines - I find the blank faces quite spooky myself
