consultant visit

Going to see the consultant this week and trying to predict what I might be asked so I'm not sitting there feeling foolish. I know they generally go through family medical history on both sides and I need to check that out with my MIL - can only think of cancer, heart disease and diabetes - what other "hereditary diseases" should I be thinking of? What other stuff were you asked about it? And what should I be asking him? Really appreciate any advice!

Oh and DVT/PE is Deep Vein Thrombosis/ Pulmonary Embolism (i.e. blood clots)
