Corkage

Can someone please explain what corkage is I know it's dreadful, i've signed my hotel contract and I still dont know what it is

Corkage is what you have to pay per bottle of wine that you bring into the hotel for your reception. SOme hotels won't let you bring in your own wine (ours doesn't), so your lucky that your hotel will.

I havent even considered what type of wine we'll pick yet! I'm not a wine person so this usually doesnt enter my head

try a chilian wine they tend to be cheaper and i think they task great, you should start looking at sales at the bigger stores or perhaps even buy up north
