Just wondering now that residence bars go to the early hours do brides bother changing into their going-away outfits? Is it even something anyone still buys?

Haven't seen it done ever at any wedding I've been to, and won't be doing it at mine, considering sleeping in the dress just so I can leave it on longer!!!! :o0

What I have seen mainly happen in the past few years is for brides to stay in their dresses for the night. They will have bought a nice outfit (basically the equivalent of going away outfit) for the next day as most people now have some sort of gathering the day after the wedding

Like the others, if I'm paying that much for a dress I'll be wearing it as long as possible.
