Does lace go with satin

I seen a lovely pair of shoes in galway there were hansel shoes cant find them on the net any way my dress is a Maggie Sottero Natilai dress and its satin the shoes are covered is lace. Will they match or does it matter?

My gut instinct is telling me that no they wont go together but you dont know until you see them side by side.

I don't think they go.
