Dress - opinions?

Hey girls, I have a gala dinner to go to in November and I'm really not looking forward to it! Its H2B gaa club but from previous experience it will be one dress to out do the other if you know what i mean! While I dont want to steal the show by any means I would like a "nice" dress and have been checking on ebay and likes - just to see if I could get something that handy! But when I googled evening dresses I found dresscode ( http://www.dresscode.ie/ ) and some of there dresses look to be exactly what I'm looking, it says they are stocked in Arnotts so I was wondering if any of you have seen them and if so what are they like - ie quality/sizing / price?? I'm thinking might take a day shopping in Dublin in the next few weeks, so if anyone else could recommend places that would sell evening dresses (that wouldn't burst the bank) it would be most appreciated
