First Consultant Appointment....

Hey girls I was just wondering if you could share your experiences..........I have my first consultant appointment on 26th of February I will be 15weeks then I had my first appointment with the Coombe at 8weeks and I had a scan I asked the Midwife and she said I would get a scan at my consultant appointment but I have heard since that this is not the norm......so I was wondering if any of use had a scan at your first consultant appointment???

I had my first appointment semi private in the Coombe at 15 weeks too. I only saw the midwife on this visit. She took all my history and sent up my file and took bloods. Then I'd to go up for a date scan. THey do this scan to get your accurate due date and don't do a scan at 20 weeks anymore unless you really want it but you pay extra for that. I didn't see consultant until i was 18weeks.
