I love cava and oscars! The others can tend to have heavily vegetarian menus which isn't my thing

Oscars or Artisan (I didnt think its that veggie orientated last time I was there) http://www.artisangalway.com http://www.oscarsbistro.ie If you are going to Oscars - reservations a pretty much neccessary at weekends.

I'm not from Galway but we go there for the odd weekend away and always have to fit in a trip to Oscars. The food is delicious!

Oscars is good. Also if you're into Thai, The Thai Garden restaurant is good, it's down by the Spanish Arch. McSwiggans has a very good menu choice and food is nice.
