GERD

just found out that i've got Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease......sounds worse than it is but now theres loads of things i cant eat just wondered if anyone else has it and how do you cope? thanks ali

Oh you poor thing. I can't offer you any advice on GERD. I have heard of it, I don't know much about it. But I do know what it's like to have your diet ristricted. I suffer from crohn's disease (it's an inflamatory bowel disease), and had to have a low fibre diet for about 6 months. At first I thought I'd never cope, but once you work out the things you can eat, you just try to vary it as much as possible so you don't get bored. Best of luck.
