Good mascara for hols

Can anyone recommend a mascara that they use for hols, one that doesn't run/smudge in the heat. I don't normally wear mascara during the day on hols, but this holiday is different, we'll be visiting a lot of places that I'll want to put on a bit of a face for! But we'll be walking around, going to the beach in between as well.

or get eyelashes tinted. i use boots No 7 or maybelline waterproof mascaras and they are fab for not running. or what about some of the clear mascaras?

I recommend getting them dyed for the hols - Its the handiest solution. The Rimmel waterproof mascara is also very good and near impossible to get off. Theone in the blue tube.

But you know the way mascara gives them a nice curl....does getting them tinted do that? I suppose I could get a clear one then to do that.
