Group B Strep

Hi there Just wondering if anyone knows what the policy is with regard to Group B Strep, if you tested positive for it in first pregnancy and are now in second pregnancy? Do you get antibiotics without being tested? Or are you tested again? I will be seeing my consultant next week and will check, but just curious in the meantime. Thanks

You are treated as if you had it. You may be screened also. I was screened on 2nd pregnancy and it came back negative but the managed my labour as if I had strepB in any eveny as it can come and go. Best of luck with your pregnancy.
