hearing the first heartbeat

just curious when your GP picked up a heartbeat with doppler?? anyone at 13wks unable to hear it?????

It was at my 16 week appointment that GP checked for heartbeat and found it with her doppler. Before 16 weeks I went to gyne at 8 and 12 weeks and he scanned me so there was no need to use a doppler.

Bree I just posted in June thread to say that my GP wouldn't even try to listen to it and I'm 15wks. He said he wouldn't pick it up. I was sure he could at this stage but I suppose it would have freaked me out if he couldn't find it.

i was 14 weeks (and 1 day) when the consultant picked mine up, but he did warn me that it may be too early and not to freak out if he couldnt.
