Just wondering if anyone can help. I've suffered from heartburn before becoming pregnant and now it seems to be getting worse. Just wondering if there is anything safe that I can take? You can take Gaviscon, If its not too bad I find a glass of milk great.

that's great thanks. I'll try the milk and see how I get on. I suppose it can only help with the calcium too. [img:1q252peb]http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/1;20;121/st/20090501/dt/5/k/b198/preg.png[/img:1q252peb]

Maybump gaviscon is perfectly fine to take. The doc just told me this afternoon. I've to take it to help with the morning sickness. They say heartburn means babs will be born with a full head of hair :wv

Gaviscon is definitely ok to take and its a great relief from heartburn. On my last pregnancy, I took loads of it, especially in the last three months when the heartburn was really bad & thank god it appeared to have no effect on my baby. Shes a healthy 16 month old now. It actually even says on the instructions that it is ok to take if you are pregnant. I am using it again on this pregnancy too & would be lost without it.

I've been taking rennies. It states on the packet that they are safe to take during pregnancy. However, it says to check with your doc if you are taking iron supplements etc. which I am. Anyone know the reason you can't take the two together?
