Heuston Station to Mater Hospital?

Hi all, looking for someone familiar with Dublin who can tell me what's the best way to get from Heuston Station to Mater Hospital on Eccles Street tomorrow? Yes, I am from the 'shticks' and am not familiar with the city at all really! I'm thinking the easiest would be to get a cab but I'm told I'd be charged a fortune! How much would it actually be?? I could also go from Busaras if that was easier, not sure if I'll take the bus or train yet - whichever is handier really! Would really appreciate any help!

A taxi would prob be a tenner at the most I'd say.

The walk from busaras is about 15-20 min and yeah taxi would be ten to 15 euro depending on bad traffic or not

Am I better off getting bus instead of train then? Since Busaras is closer the taxi would probably be cheaper?
