How long was your engagement?

Just wondering how long the average engagment is Mine will be just over 2 years

Ours will be 2 years almost exactly, getting married the bank holiday weekend we got engaged, which was totally unplanned and weird!

10 months, no point hanging around

We waited a year and a half, nearly there now!!!!!

5 months - we eloped. Would have been sooner had we not wasted time considering other peoples thoughts and opinions on what we should do!

14 months and now just over two months to go. The last year has just flown!

By the time we get to the wedding day it will be two years and 3 months. It would have been shorter except we needed to save as we don't want to have any debt after the wedding.

it will be just over 6 years....seems so long compared to others, we made a choice though...wedding or house......and we chose house so we set our date last year for the wedding in august and we moved in last month!

Erniebert, we have the same wedding date

Ours was 2 years and 8 months - we wanted to save so that we wouldn't be paying for the day long after it was over. So glad we did it that way.
