How to decide colour "theme"

hi all. I'm a fairly unfussy bride in terms of colour scheme. Bridesmaids picking the colour themselves (probably a blue) so what should be matching. Should the general theme then be matched to bm's or how does it work? Like if I put confetti or something on tables should that match the chair covers and what should they match to etc? Bit confused here!!!

Hey - I'm much like you - not too fussy, so BMs are choosing the colour themselves... I'm guessing their dresses are pretty central to the whole colour scheme, if you're going for a whole-matching thingy, so cravats / ties would match, maybe some aspects of the decor would too, though I'm not sure what...sorry not to have been of any help, but I've just realised I need to think about this much more!!!
